Early Intervention

Early intervention, an essential program, is a primary step with students whether blind, deaf, or blind with additional disabilities.

It is to identify and provide effective early support to the child and his/her family as soon as the disability is detected in order to prepare him/her for Pre-school.

A specialized team visits the child in his/her family context to offer a wide range of support, guidance and services that include:

  • Screening the child case
  • Parental guidance and support
  • Therapeutic and social intervention
  • Life skills improvement
  • Hotline services for inquires
  • Classroom integration sessions

The team comprises a social worker, psychologist, speech therapist, psychomotor therapist and any other specialist needed.
